In Adventure with the Lord

Ok, so, I was just thinking about all of the moving around I've done in the last few years, and how I really do consider all of them adventurous endeavors with the Lord. I mean, each move has had it's own set of challenges, hardships, and even dissappointments, but all of them have been worth it in the end. The ways that I've grown, and deepened, and gained experience are like precious gems to me. Plus, the Lord is always the most tender, and kind, and near to me in those times. That part of our relationship that I've built with him brings only joy and comfort to me.

SO....my following thought is....

How can people NOT want to follow the Lord on his great adventures?!
Sure it’s a world of unknown, and life feels crazy, and sometimes you don’t know which end is up,
But it’s the Lord we’re talking about. Adventure with Him is like the Prince who has to cross the bridge, defeat the dragon, and climb to the top of the castle to rescue the Princess. Hello! He gets the Princess!
The Lord always rewards those who follow Him. His desire is always to give us such good gifts. We just have to tackle some major obstacles sometimes to reach the prizes.

And Faith is like the coolest gift out there. Faith makes every coming adventure have a back drop of peace. No matter what the circumstance, Faith grounds you in the knowledge that the Lord is always there and trustworthy and with a plan. His love never fails, and so, no circumstance can hinder our ‘already victory.’ We are more than just conquerors with the Lord. We get to triumphant with peace, and joy, and grace, and love at our side.

Do you realize the confidence that we get to walk in because of the love that the Father has for us? There’s no need for any insecurity, fear, anxiety, or doubt when we are wrapped in the unfailing love God has for us. His love not only protects us from the outside weight of rejection, accusation, and persecution, but it also protects us from our own mistakes that can cripple us. The Father’s love covers even our own weaknesses. He sees our inability at times, and says, 'You don’t have to fear even that! Trust in my
ability to cover you, and follow me in all the ways you know how.' He has Grace for us! We need no shame over our frailties. Simply desire to honor Him in the ways that we do know how, and He will do the rest. The end result of every journey, every adventure is His.
